BarberTracker Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 29, 2026

BarberTracker uses the information needed to create accounts, show nearby barber shops, and manage short walk-in reservations. This may include your name, email address, account role and status, shop name, address, phone number, opening hours, shop photo, approximate or precise device location when permission is granted, and reservation activity.

We use this information to authenticate users, administer approvals, display and locate shops, operate bookings, prevent misuse, troubleshoot the service, and meet legal obligations. Account, shop, and booking data is stored using Google Firebase. Map tiles and external directions may be provided by MapLibre/OpenFreeMap and Google Maps under their respective policies.

Location permission is optional, but nearby-shop features require a location. BarberTracker does not sell personal information. Authorized administration and service providers may process data only as needed to operate the app.

We retain account information while an account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, legal, and operational purposes. Users may request account deletion using the contact method on the BarberTracker Google Play listing. Deletion removes the Firebase login, profile, owned shop and slots, and related booking records, except information that must be retained by law or limited security/audit records where permitted.

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. BarberTracker is not intended for children under 13. We may update this policy and will revise the effective date when material changes are made.
